FLUOROCARBON (VITON / FPM) Fluororubber is very suitable for use with a wide range of chemicals and substances. FPM has excellent heat resistance. It has good resistance to ozone, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatic and many organic solvents and chemicals. FPM rubber does not have particularly good cold resistance. In static service, it is about -25ºC (no leakage has been observed at -40ºC under certain conditions). In dynamic use, -15ºC to -20ºC is achieved.
