KLINGERsil® C-4500 is a high quality carbon fibre based sealant. The sealant is designed for mild alkalis and high temperatures, making it particularly suitable for applications in the paper and chemical industries, for example.

The sealant is suitable for high pressures and up to a continuous temperature of 250°C. KLINGERsil® C-4500 has excellent load resistance. The gasket can be replaced by KLINGER® top-chem 2000 PTFE material or, with reservations, by KLINGER® Quantum if standardisation of gasket materials in the plant is desired. KLINGERsil® C-4500 is suitable for use as a sealant with water and steam at elevated temperatures, as well as with oils, gases, brines, fuels, alcohols, mild organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and various refrigeration fluids.
