Klinger CHEM 2000 1,0x1000x1000

KLINGER® top-chem 2000 is a unique modified PTFE sealant. It is the only sealant on the market with silicon carbide as the reinforcing material. This gives it the best properties of any PTFE sealant on the market. Top-chem 2000 is the only PTFE gasket with sufficient mechanical properties for applications with temperatures above 200°C. Unlike other PTFE gaskets, Top-chem 2000 does not require post-tensioning. The gasket has excellent chemical resistance to strong acids and bases and excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures and pressures. The versatility of Top-chem 2000 makes it suitable as a general purpose sealant for the plant, thus minimising the number of sealing materials. KLINGER® top-chem 2000 is the only PTFE sealant with Fire Safe certification and is also blow-out tested. Top-chem 2000 works best at high surface pressures. KLINGER® top-chem 2000 is highly suitable for a wide range of applications in the paper and pulp, chemical and petrochemical industries. The gasket is also very well suited for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, e.g. steam applications and oxygen pipelines, as well as for applications with high requirements for clean air ref. TA Luft. Thanks to its properties, the seal therefore fulfils the environmental permit requirement to use BAT (Best Available Technology) technology and is therefore legally compliant. Top-chem 2000 is ideally suited for heat exchangers or other applications with high temperatures or large temperature fluctuations.
